October 10 – 17, 2012

This one-week doctoral course provides practical knowledge on zebrafish techniques frequently used in medical and biomedical sciences, within disciplines such as cell and molecular biology, physiology, genetics and etology. After the course the students should have skills of basic handling of zebrafish, understand the theoretical basis for zebrafish key technologies and be able to practically apply some techniques included in the course.

The course consists of lectures, practical demonstrations and exercises including journaling.

The course is organized by the research school of DBRM (Developmental Biology For Regenerative Medicine, www.dbrm.se). The center and the research school are funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet, www.vr.se).
