The exam takes places on Friday, May 29 in the seminar room D224 at CMB. The exam consists of project presentations by the course students using the DBRM wiki platform.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply basic bioinformatics resources taught during the course in their project presentation to allow practical application of the newly learned bioinformatics knowledge into ongoing research. On Day 1 of the course, students are expected to form groups of three. The research topics can be chosen freely, but preferably within an area of students' current research.
Each group will present their project at the end of the course. Each group member is expected to participate in the presentation.
The exam panel will consist of the lecturers and other experts who will grade the presentation and present their feedback to the students. All project work done during the course will be presented and updated on the DBRM wiki.
Each group will be given 30 minutes for the presentation plus 10 min for questions and answers.
