Advanced course in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine 9 hp
September 3 - beginning of October, 2012
This advanced theoretical and experimental course is open to Biomedicine Master's students interested in the area of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. After the course, the students should know the basics of stem cell biology and the medical use of cell therapy. The students should be able to apply and understand the theoretical basis for key technologies utilized in stem cell research. The course covers key concepts in translational research from the laboratory to the clinic.
The course consists of lectures, seminars and group discussions.
The course is organized by the research school of
DBRM (Developmental Biology For Regenerative Medicine, www.dbrm.se). The center and the research school are funded by the
Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet, www.vr.se).
