Image Guide
This is a guide the help you insert images into your topics. There will be many examples and instructions to help you achieve the result you want.
1. Attaching your image
To be able to display an image in your topic, the image must exist somewhere on the internet. The safest way to ensure this is to attach it to your topic. By attaching it to your topic you will be sure that the image will not disappear, which might be the case if you use an image that is stored at someone elses webpage. If they delete the image, it will disappear from your topic as well.By attching it to your own topic you create a copy of the image that cannot be deleted as easily. In the unlikely event of someone deleting your picture (or entire topic!) by mistake, it is easy to restore if from backups.
To attach an image to your topic, do the following:
1. Edit the topic you want to attach the image to by pressing the Edit-button in the top-right corner.
2. Open the attachment menu by pressing the Manage Attachment button.
3.Go the the Upload Attachment tab and browse for the file you want to upload and then press the Upload button.Close the Upload window when the upload is done. If you do not want the attachment to show in the attachment list at the end of the topic you can check the Hide Attachment box.
